Mario J. Di Franco, 75, of Willoughby, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023.
Born Sept. 8, 1947, in Cleveland, he had lived in the Collinwood area of Cleveland before moving to Willoughby 32 years ago.
Mario was a master plumber and had a deep love for his trade. He was the owner of Mario J. Di Franco Plumbing Company and served as the plumbing inspector for Willoughby and Lake County. Additionally, he held the position of Chief Building Official for the City of Willoughby Hills. Mario also enjoyed assisting contractors in obtaining their State of Ohio Plumbing License and taught continuing education as a certified instructor through the OCILB.
